if pupils did not have the opportunity to generalise, the lesson was not a mathematics lesson!

 

How to teach mathematics ? Cet article d'un blog est très intéressant. Bien évidemment, l'auteur précise que ce n'est pas avec le texte court d'un blog que l'on pourra répondre à cette question, mais cela reste très riche à lire.

    --> là, je ne suis pas tout à fait d'accord avec la suite du texte :

    A set of percentages problems about pupils’ favourite TV shows, for instance, results in pupils attending to the context rather than the mathematics!

    -->bien évidemment, il ne s'agit pas de rester sur l'émission de télé, mais comme accroche, cela peut être très bénéfique : revenir alors au titre ..."to generalise"
